CC apologises for trainer's lapse

I REFER to the letter, '9-year-old who broke teeth ignored by all' (ST, Feb 26), by Ms Chiang Meng Lee.

All our trainers have been told to notify us of any accidents during lessons so that we can assist the injured and inform his/her family promptly. They should also help the injured seek prompt medical treatment and work closely with the CC in keeping family members informed.

We regret that Ms Chiang's son injured himself accidentally at the CC. The trainer recognises that he should have reported the incident to us immediately. He has apologised to the parents. We have also contacted Ms Chiang to convey our apologies and are taking this lapse of service very seriously. The CC will continue to be diligent about the safety of our customers at all times. We hope that this incident will not stop Ms Chiang and her family from taking part in our activities.
